  • From past experiences, the Grade 11 selections will take up to 2 weeks and a further 2 weeks to see the selection list published online.
  • The 2022 Grade 10 exam results will come out on the 9th of December 2022 at 11AM. 

Grade 11 selection list 2023 for Highlands, Southern, Momase & NGI

Initially, the selection was to take place between the 5th and 9th of December 2022 (Watch the video for the details). But, the change in time from the 4th of December to the 9th of December means that the 2023 Grade 11 selection lists will come out later than expected.

In anticipation, expect the selection lists to be out 3 – 4 weeks after the release of the Grade 10 exam results. PNG Insight will make links available here, yet the best place to check is the Department of Education website.

The 2023 Grade 11 selections list for Highlands Region is the listing of the 2022 Grade 10 Students who are selected to the secondary schools in the following provinces: Jiwaka, Simbu, Eastern Highlands, Western Highlands, Southern Highlands, Hela and Enga.

2023 Grade 11 Selection List for Highlands Region  Secondary Schools

Last year (2021), the Education Department released the final 2022 Grade 11 Selection Lists on the 22nd of December 2021 – 2 weeks after the Selection Committee did the selection. It took two weeks to do the selections, and another 2 weeks before NDoE published the PDF list. This is how long it takes for the final selection lists to come out.
 
Expect delays, but also expect the 2023 Grade 11 selection lists to come out before the end of December 2022. Any further delays can affect parents and schools as they prepare for the new academic year.
