Grade 12 Selections Lists 2023-2024: Publication Date

The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) National Online Selections System (NOSS) is a centralised system that selects students for admission to tertiary institutions in Papua New Guinea.

Here is a brief overview of the difference between the Grade 12 Selection Lists’ launch date and publication date, and what you should do if you are a Grade 12 student waiting for the selection list to come out.

DHERST Grade 12 Selection List Launching Date

The system uses the Grade 12 National Online Application System (NOAS) data and Grade 12 Results to select students for universities and colleges in PNG. It is a fast, effective and fair system.

DHERST Selection List Launching Date is when the NOSS system activates and the selection process begins, typically within 8-10 days of finalising and entering Grade 12 results.

For the 2024 academic year, the DHERST Grade 12 Selection List Launch Date is Thursday, 21 December, 2023. That is when the minister ‘presses the button’ to activate the system. Here is more information on PNG Insight Blog
