The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) officially launched the NOAS selection for Papua New Guinea University of Technology (UNITECH) online on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. Students are advised to access their NOAS accounts for individual updates. The selection results will be published on the DHERST website on 23 December 2025 or early in January 2026. This means that UNITECH should release the New Intake Selection List for Grade 12 school leavers and non-school leavers for the 2026 academic year as soon as the DHERST NOAS final PDF listing is out.
This announcement marks an important milestone for prospective students who have been awaiting their outcomes. Applicants may now confirm their selection status by logging into their NOAS accounts and viewing the MyStatus tab.
UNITECH Selection List 2026 PDF
The UNITECH Selection List for the 2026 academic year contains the names of Grade 12 school leavers who applied through the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) National Online Application System (NOAS) and were selected via the National Online Selection System (NOSS).
Please note that this list may not include applicants who have been placed in the Admissions Pool. Applicants are therefore advised to download and carefully review the selection list to confirm their status. Guidance for applicants in the Admissions Pool is provided below.
Key Information
- The National Selection results for the 2026 intake are now accessible through NOAS.
Successful applicants will receive official offer letters directly from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology (UNITECH) and may be considered for TESAS (Tertiary Education Student Assistance Scheme) scholarships.
Applicants who are not selected will remain in the NOSS Admissions Pool and may be considered if places become available.
A Grade Point Average (GPA) below 2.0 may limit consideration within the Admissions Pool; however, upgrading Grade 12 results may improve future selection prospects.
Some PNG universities have already released the Non-school leavers and new intake school leavers acceptance lists PDF. Here is the full checklist on the PNG Insight Blog. Check it out.

UNITECH will forward your application details with specific acceptance details.

For Applicants Not Selected
Your application remains in the National Online Selection System (NOSS) Admissions Pool. You may be considered for admission if UNITECH hasn’t filled its quota.
- Check your MyStatus section on NOAS from December 2025 to March 2026.
- Consider an academic upgrade for future applications if your GPA is below 2.0. Remember, your educational journey can continue!
- If you want to re-check your Grade 12 marks with the Education Department, check out the article here on how to do it.
We encourage all applicants to carefully review the selection list and contact UNITECH for any questions.
