UNRE Acceptance List 2024 Released: Grade 12 School Leavers Intake

The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) has released the highly anticipated Grade 12 New Intake Selection List for the 2024 academic year. This marks a crucial step for prospective students seeking admission to the Papua New Guinea University of Natural Resources and Environment (PNG UNRE).

Check out the full checklist on the PNG Insight Blog. This list gives you an idea of the PNG Universities selection/acceptance lists that have been released so far. Check it out.

For Applicants Offered Admission to PNG UNRE

  • Congratulations! You have secured a place at PNG UNRE. Expect an official admissions offer letter outlining your program acceptance details and potential TESAS scholarship eligibility. You will receive this letter directly from PNG UNRE.
  • To confirm your TESAS scholarship eligibility, access the National Selection List and visit the NOAS platform (apply.dherst.gov.pg) by the third week of January 2024.

For Applicants Not Initially Selected

Your application remains active in the National Online Selection System (NOSS) Admissions Pool. This provides an opportunity for admission to other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with unfilled quotas.

Regularly check your MyStatus section on NOAS between December 2023 and March 2024 for updates regarding potential offers from other HEIs.

If your Grade 12 GPA falls below 2.0, consider academic upgrading to strengthen your future applications. Remember, your educational journey can still unfold in fulfilling ways.
